LONDON — Later this month, digital artists will come together in East London for a three-day workshop presented by leading visual effects artists. Industry Workshops will present technical and philosophical panels that look at concept art and illustration. The event is set to take place from August 29th through the 31st at the Shoreditch Works and Lyst spaces off Silicon Roundabout, a tech start-up hub in London.
The event will host workshops and lectures covering a variety of disciplines, from traditional sketching and concept art to digital matte painting and life drawing. Rooms will be dedicated to artist interaction, and there will be opportunities for personal portfolio review and recruitment. Attendees will also be treated to a showcase of local food, coffee and craft beers.
