Stefan Sonnenfeld to head Deluxe's new creative services division

LOS ANGELES — Deluxe (www.bydeluxe.com) has formed a new and unified creative services division that will centralize its post services, including color, editorial and VFX. The division will cater to a range of platforms, such as feature-length movies; Web, cable and network television programs; commercials; and Web content.

The new business unit is designed to allow Deluxe's Company 3, Beast, Deluxe New York, Encore, EFilm, Level 3 Post, Method Studios, and Rushes to all work together more efficiently, as well as to maximize synergy.

Stefan Sonnenfeld, founder and president of Company 3, will take on the role of CEO of the division. Bill Romeo will move up from his post as executive VP of Encore to become CMO. Joshua Toubar, who held a similar role at Ascent Media a decade ago before co-founding software companies Xytech and Xymox, will serve as COO.

"As the divisions among different types of content continue to blur," "our new, centralized creative services division will offer clients greater efficiency and flexibility,” explains Sonnenfeld, “and our incredibly talented artists will no longer be locked into working only on features or episodic TV or commercials… Deluxe Creative Services is entering 2015 in a new form, as a centralized, platform-agnostic company that can offer an even higher level of product and service than ever."

Deluxe employs nearly 6,000 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of MacAndrews & Forbes Holdings Inc.
