Bobby Sorrentino closes Penny Lane, joins AudioEngine

NEW YORK - Former Penny Lane owner and senior mixer Bobby Sorrentino (www.audioengine.net) will make his new home at AudioEngine|NYC after the closure of Penny Lane studios in mid-August. Penny Lane is closing due to the skyrocketing Manhattan real estate market.

Sorrentino will occupy the John Storyk-designed Studio F at 817 Broadway, which will include one of Penny Lane's Fairlight systems, allowing the studio to support legacy clients.

"I've known Bobby for more years than either of us would care to admit and I'm thrilled that he chose audioEngine as his new home." says Bob Giammarco, CEO of aE|Media, audioEngine|NYC's parent company.
