SpotGenie appoints Joel Brand director of video post
ATLANTA — SpotGenie Partners, LLC ( has named Joel Brand director of video post operations. The company provides digital media services to the advertising, entertainment and broadcast industries.

Brand comes to SpotGenie following a 10-year stint at Outback Editorial in Atlanta, where he was most recently owner/president and creative editor. His credits include work for The Food Network, the US Marines, Walt Disney Parks, US Virgin Islands Tourism, Levi's, and BlueCross BlueShield, among many others.
In his new post, Brand will head a team responsible for assisting SpotGenie clients with the preparation of their spots for air, including video transcoding, closed captioning, slating, editorial, tagging and quality control.
