Rabbit Content signs Lesley Chilcott for US representation

NEW YORK — Rabbit Content (www.rabbitcontent.com), a collective of directors, producers, designers, VFX artists and brand builders with offices in NYC, LA and Sydney, has signed director Lesley Chilcott for commercial representation in the US.

“In the current climate, we face new challenges and opportunities every day, and we take a broader look at talent. Lesley comes with an extraordinary skill set and is able to look at all kinds of projects from inception to finish,” says Douglas Howell, Rabbit EP/partner.”We know she will bring great attributes to the company as a director and personally, but we also feel she will greatly help us to continue to evolve the perception of a production company. She fits our culture perfectly. We expect her quickly to be working on big national accounts, as well as diving straight into some of our non traditional platforms.”

As a producer, Chilcott produced the 2006 Academy Award-winning documentary An Inconvenient Truth, and the documentary features It Might Get Loud (2009),  and Waiting for Superman (2010), on which she also served as the 2nd unit director. Chilcott has won many distinguished awards including the PGA Award for Outstanding Producer of Documentary Theatrical Motion Pictures.

Earlier this year Chilcott directed the viral film CodeStars for code.org, which garnered over 13 million views online. In addition to her work as a director and producer, in 2008 Chilcott founded the non-profit Unscrew America, which continues her dedication to sustainability and environmental issues. She is also a green correspondent and often provides a “Green Tip” to Post Magazine.
