LOS ANGELES — The Motion Picture Sound Editors (www.mpse.org) have announced the nominees for the 60th MPSE Golden Reel Awards, which will be held February 17 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites in Los Angeles. Nominees represent sound professionals working in feature film, television, animation and computer entertainment media from around the world.
The awards recognize achievement in sound editing in 22 categories. Additionally, at this year’s event, the MPSE will present its Filmmaker Award to director Ang Lee and its Career Achievement Award to Foley artist John Roesch.
