DuArt expands with new edit bays

NEW YORK — DuArt (http://duart.com), which offers audio, video and digital media post services, has added capacity for its production and post clients with an expansion that includes 21 additional edit bays and two new insert stages.

The new edit bays were constructed on DuArt’s 7th floor, a fully renovated space that features seven-foot windows on all four exposures, 11-foot ceilings, exposed brick and Midtown views. Each edit bay provides fiber and ethernet connectivity, as well as wireless and hard-wired Internet access. The bays can also be converted to production space as needed.

On the third floor, production clients can now make use of two new insert stages, which are well suited for greenscreen shoots or interviews. Hair/makeup and wardrobe rooms are located just next door. A freight elevator and loading dock are available for easy loading in and out.

This latest expansion complements the 54 existing production suites and edit bays at DuArt. In May, the facility added three new audio production rooms for a total of seven. All of those suites are suitable for a wide range of VO uses.

DuArt’s newest facilities have already been put to use by clients that include MTV2, Park Slope Productions, The Documentary Group and other short-term and long-term tenants.
