Boxx improves 3DBoxx with 4th generation Intel technology

AUSTIN, TX — Boxx Technologies (www.boxxtech.com) has introduced the 3DBoxx 4120, a new, compact, professional workstation that features fourth generation Intel Xeon processors E3-1200 v3 family and Intel’s fourth generation Core processors. These products offer a significant performance increase over previous Intel processors while also providing better power efficiency.

The integration of a new, four-core, fourth-generation Intel Core i7 or four-core Intel Xeon processor E3-1200 v3 product family enables 3DBoxx 4120 to offer a ten percent performance increase over its predecessor, the 3DBoxx 4050. The workstation also features liquid cooling and a new compact chassis ensuring quiet operation while making it well suited for space-constrained environments. Despite its space-saving form factor, the 4120 includes a professional Nvidia graphics card (Quadro or high end GeForce GTX) and solid state drives while remaining priced for entry to mid-level professionals.

“Because BOXX specializes in professional workstations, we know that businesses require the latest technology and innovation for greater efficiency and productivity,” said Shoaib Mohammad, Boxx VP of marketing and business development. “The integration of new Intel processors based on Haswell micro architecture in the 3DBoxx 4120, coupled with our new space-saving chassis, liquid cooling, SSDs, and Nvidia GPUs, provides architects, engineers, and visualization pros with maximum performance in a minimum size—all at a value price.”
