FREEMONT, CA — Blackmagic Design (www.blackmagicdesign.com) has plans to host two seminars in the weeks to come: one in Los Angeles and one in New York. The all-day seminars will be free to attend (registration required) and will include demonstrations of the new Pocket Cinema Camera, Production Camera 4K, Audio Monitor, SmartScope Duo, DaVinci Resolve 10 and the ATEM Production Studio 4K, a new UltraHD live production switcher.
Blackmagic Design will host the Los Angeles seminar on July 25 at the Burbank Airport Marriott. The New York event will take place on August 8 at the New Yorker Hotel, Ramada Plaza.
“We have had a lot of positive feedback from customers for the new products we announced at NAB 2013, and many people have asked for the opportunity to have additional demonstrations,” explains Grant Petty, CEO of Blackmagic Design. “The seminars are a great environment for the creative community to get hands on with the new products. And for many who actively participate in online forums and user group discussions, it’s also a great chance to meet face to face and share creative ideas.”
Food and refreshments will be served throughout the day, and the Blackmagic Design team will be available to discuss new workflows and provide technical advice. There will also be theater presentations and live demonstrations by Blackmagic Design partners Apple, Adobe, Autodesk and Avid.
