Digital-Tutors adds 20 new training titles

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — CG and VFX training resource Digital-Tutors (www.digitaltutors.com) has released 20 new tutorials, including its first for the CryEngine game engine. The CryEngine collection spans more than nine hours of instruction covering an introduction, terrain modeling techniques, and material creation workflows, along with individual lessons.

Digital-Tutors has also released new tutorials for Maya, 3DS Max, Cinema 4D, ZBrush, TopoGun, and After Effects. Some of the new titles include: “3DS Max to MotionBuilder Integration,” “Top 10 Rendering Tips for Maya Artists,” “Low Polygon Texturing in Mari,” and “Photorealistic Camera Lens Effects in Nuke.” 

In the Professional Series, new titles include: “Creating Character Variation with Texture Maps,” “Topology Tools in Zbrush,” 
“Topology Tools in TopoGun,” “Facial Rigging in Cinema 4D,” and “Creating Flexible Layouts in InDesign.”

A number of Creative Development titles have also been released, including: “Rigging and Animating 2D Characters in After Effects with Daniel Gies,” “Creating Hologram Effects for Video in Maya and After Effects,” “Modeling a Detailed Ship in Maya with Stas Poritskiy,” and “Animating Object Transitions in Cinema 4D with Can Erduman.”

For those interesting in learning more about ZBrush, Digital-Tutpors is now offering “Dinosaur Reconstruction with Peter Minister,”  
“Understanding Facial Anatomy with Lee Magalhães” and “Creating a Fantasy Dragon with Peter Minister.”
