MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Blue Room Post (www.blueroompost.com) has been busy lately, providing ADR services for numerous television projects. The company’s Hollywood studio, located at Raleigh Studios, recently completed the third consecutive year of providing ADR for TNT’s hit series The Closer. The show’s series finale aired during the summer and was one of the highest-rated programs on cable.
Blue Room Post also handled ADR for the TNT series Major Crimes, which is a spin-off of The Closer. And the studio’s Hollywood location regularly provides ADR for programs such as Private Practice, Castle, Dallas and Longmire.
Working through its main campus in Manhattan Beach, Blue Room Post provides ADR services for the CW’s 90210 franchise and for ABC’s hit series Revenge.
“We shoot ‘Revenge’ at Raleigh, Manhattan Beach, and our post and writers offices are in Hollywood,” notes Revenge producer Ted Babcock, “so the fact that Blue Room Post has facilities in both locations is extremely convenient for us. We don’t have to drive our actors anywhere — it’s a win win situation all around. The Manhattan Beach location also supplied source ADR for Marvel Entertainment’s feature films Iron Man 2 and Thor, and temp ADR for the summer hits The Avengers and Captain America.
In addition to Berglund, the Blue Room roster includes Mike Patterson and Nick Couscouris.
