JVC expands 3D LCD line

LAS VEGAS — JVC Professional Products Company (www.pro.jvc.com) has added to its G Series line of 3D LCD monitors. The new DT-3D24G1 is a 24-inch monitor that supports most camera settings, and includes measurement tools for confirming that left and right eye images have been aligned properly.

The DT-3D24G1 offers 1920x1200 pixel resolution with 10-bit digital processing and 3D and dual link HD-SDI inputs. Using the X-Pol circular polarizing system, the unit displays 3D images that can be viewed with inexpensive passive glasses. The DT-3d24G1 can be battery powered for use on location too.

Built-in tools include a vectorscope and waveform monitor,  various gamma selection options and the ability to display up to 12 channels of audio. At press time, JVC had yet to announce the price and delivery date for the 3D LCD.
