'Bond' composer Barry dies

NEW YORK — Earlier today, CNN reported that film composer John Barry died. Barry won Academy Awards for his work on Dances with Wolves (1990), Out of Africa (1985), The Lion in Winter (1968) and Born Free (1966). He is also credited with writing the theme songs to 11 James Bond movies. Barry was 77 and was represented by United Agents in London.
