Al Gore to keynote PromaxBDA

LOS ANGELES — PromaxBDA  (www.promaxbda.org) has announced plans for its upcoming conference, including the finalists for the 2011 PromaxBDA Marketing, Promotion and Design Awards. The awards celebrate excellence, creativity and innovation, and will be presented at the 2011 Conference taking place June 28-30 in New York City.

This year’s conference follows the theme “Fast. Forward,” which exemplifies the importance of marketing executives’ determination to keep up with the rapid speed at which the industry is shifting and evolving.

“This year’s PromaxBDA Award’s finalists represent some of the top designers, marketers and promoters in the field,” notes Jonathan Block-Verk, president/CEO of PromaxBDA.

Former Vice President of the United States Al Gore will present the keynote at PromaxBDA. Gore is also the chairman and co-founder of Current Media, and is the chairman of the Alliance for Climate Protection. Additional speakers will include filmmaker Spike Lee, former president & CEO of NBC Universal Jeff Zucker, and Jill Beraud, CMO of PepsiCo Americas Beverages and president of joint ventures.

PromaxBDA will be held at the Hilton New York in Manhattan.
