HOLLYWOOD — Richard Morrison (www.richard-morrison.co.uk), a UK-based designer of film title sequences, has launched a new production company in Los Angeles with two partners. Morrison, along with producer Dominic Buttimore of production group th1ng (www.th1ng.com) and LA-based negative cutter Mo Henry, have opened Morrison Buttimore Henry (www.mbh-films.com), which will initially focus on designing movie sequences and end-credits.

Morrison (pictured) has worked on the opening titles for Golden Compass, Vantage Point, Enemy at the Gates and Tim Burton’s Batman and Sweeney Todd. He has more than 150 title sequences to his credit.

Buttimore has been producing animation and live action for 22 years. He is the founder of Th1ng, a group that includes mixed media and animation studio Th1ng, live-action specialists Th2ng, and Film Club Productions.

Mo Henry has worked on many features and has also been trusted with archiving the original camera negative for the likes of Sony Pictures and Warner Brothers.
