Open Studio Sessions (http://openstudio.freestylecollective.com)
will regularly feature interviews with innovative and inspirational creative
minds from around the world. Each session will explore the minds of artists who
are known for thinking outside the box, and will explore how they take on challenges
in fine art, design and music, among other subjects.
The series premieres with a look at the work of artist David
Ellis of the Barnstormers. Freestyle Collective and Ellis met last October
while working together on WE People, a week-long, community-wide arts project
that celebrated the lives and faces of Charlottesville, VA.
