NYC'S UVPHACTORY MOVES INTO BIGGER SPACE

"We needed more space for our growing staff," says UVPhactory principal/co-founder Scott Sindorf. "We wanted our clients to be comfortable and have private work environments; and we were looked forward to having a home that would reflect our design aesthetics."

"Both Scott and I have masters degrees in architecture so we particularly enjoyed the design process and collaborating with our architect to turn this large raw space into a state-of-the-art, client friendly creative studio," adds fellow co-founder/principal, Damijan Saccio. "The office is light filled, the ceilings and walls are white, the maple floors are stained dark and, to accentuate architectural aspects of the space, there are numerous touches of 'safety' orange. It is really a beautiful and extremely functional environment."

The 3,500 square-foot, multi-level floor plan includes an HD editorial suite, an elevated conference room, a centrally located machine room housing 8TB of fibre channel video RAID, client and reception areas, an accountant's office, a kitchen and bathrooms. Fifteen foot ceilings allow for retractable 30 foot green, blue and white cycloramas for live-action shoots. The open, sun filled creative bullpen, is home to a dozen designers, animators and producers, and encourages collaboration.
