'TRAILER FABULOUS': BMD DESIGNS MTV'S NEW SERIES

"Trailer Fabulous" is a weekly series in which host/rapper Brooks Buford and his design team roll into different trailer parks to give one lucky kid a head-to-toe style makeover. Designer Johnny Hardesty and landscaper Gino Panaro transform the trailer into a pimped-out crib on wheels, while stylist Erika Martin revamps the chosen one's wardrobe and personal style.

According to Big Machine design creative director Ken Carlson, the studio took the idea of TV show makeovers and transformed and applied "those concepts to the graphics presented in this new main title sequence. Footage from the show is transformed into stylized and fun title cards that reflect the tone of the show."

The open and the show's accompanying graphics were created using Apple PowerMac G5 workstations running Adobe Photoshop CS, Illustrator CS and After Effects 6.5.

Steve Petersen was executive producer for BMD and Katai Tang, senior designer. Rowina Valiton, Jason Kim, Herioka Muljadi and Ming-shian Wang also served as designers on the project.
