STUDIO NETWORK SOLUTIONS HOSTING HARD DRIVE TOSS

LAS VEGAS - Studio Network Solutions (SNS), based in St. Louis, is hosting "The First Annual Hard Drive Toss" contest at NAB this year, giving attendees a chance to win a number of cool prizes. The event is taking place on Tuesday from noon to 6pm at the outdoor Mobile Media area, between the South and Central Halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center, and will challenge participants with tossing a traditional hard drive into a garbage can placed at a distance.

SNS (www.studionetworksolutions.com), which specializes in storage solutions for the entertainment industry, aims to demonstrate that without proper storage technology a pro might as well "toss their hard drive in the garbage."

"NAB is a highly-anticipated show for SNS and we are looking forward to the Hard Drive Toss being an extremely fun way to bring attention to our new software products," says Eric Newbauer, director of operations at SNS. "The Hard Drive Toss Contest is derived from a similar event that SNS sponsors at reseller locations worldwide. Bringing this contest to NAB is a great opportunity to have some fun with attendees as they move from one hall to the next."

Three prizes are up for grabs, including a 17-inch Apple PowerBook, an Apple iBook and a U2 iPod. SNS hopes the The Hard Drive Toss Contest will become a popular, annual fixture at future NAB shows.
