NTH DEGREE COMPLETES BRANDING FOR THE HISTORY CHANNEL, MTV'S LOGO

For the History Channel, Nth Degree completed a branding package for the network's new show "Decoding the Past." Using occult-tinged imagery, from da Vinci's Vitruvian Man to Masonic iconography, the viewer is taken on a journey through a dimensional landscape defining some of history's most compelling mysteries.

MTV's Logo features such programming as the annual Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) Awards, "Queer As Folk," and selections from a diverse library of homosexual films.

For the launch, Nth Degree produced promos for the GLAAD Awards, an Erasure Concert, and Miller Lite's opening night sponsorship. And while there was different programming being highlighted, the studio established a central feel that the channel was trying to achieve.

The awards show conveys a big show feel, whereas Erasure presents a uniquely pop style. The Miller Lite spot is a commercial that was created for the Miller Brewing Company and, accordingly, stays true to the brand.
