FILMCORE ADDS EDITOR TRACY HOF

SANTA MONICA, CA - Editor Tracy Hof has joined FilmCore Editorial (www.filmcore.com), bringing with her experience in commercial work as well as credits on documentaries and indie films. Hof has been working as a freelancer for the past several years, cutting projects for clients that include Gatorade, Toyota, the US Army and Ross. She will be based out of FilmCore's Santa Monica headquarters, but will also be available for assignments through the company's offices in San Francisco and New York.

Hof began her career with Straight Cut Editorial in Santa Monica. She was hired as an assistant, and in 1998, was promoted to editor. There she worked on the spot "Lifestyle Choice" for online banker Cyberycash, which won a Cannes Gold Lion in 2000.

After the studio closed in 2000, Hof went freelance, working with such companies as Lux Edit and Mint Editorial in Santa Monica, and with Flipside Editorial in San Francisco. Her work covered a broad range and included fashion, dialogue, automotive and comedy advertising.

Additionally, Hof has undertaken several music and documentary projects, among them Alanis Morrisette and the Goo Goo Dolls concert/documentary, videos for Much Music, and a behind-the-scenes documentary on the making of "Singin' in the Rain." She also edited the short film "Getting to Know You," directed by Liz Lachman and featuring Dana Delany and Ian Gomez, which is currently showing on the festival circuit.
