August 19 BURBANK, CA - Supervising sound editor Laurent Kossayan has joined the creative team at Burbank, CA's Warner Bros. Post Production Services. A native of France who moved to the US, Kossayan has been a frequent collaborator on writer/director Jean-Pierre Jeunet's films, serving as supervising sound editor on Amelie and The City of the Lost Children.  
STEVEN JACKSON'S PARK ROAD POST ADDS QUANTEL NEO
August 19 WELLINGTON,
 NEW ZEALAND - Park Road Post Production (www.parkroad.co.nz), founded by filmmaker Peter Jackson, has purchased a Neo control panel for its Quantel Pablo color correction system, which serves as the heart of facility's showpiece DI theatre.  
BWN GROWS LA PRESENCE WITH OUTLAW ACQUISITION
August 19 LOS ANGELES - Music and sound design company BWN has expanded its LA offerings with the recent acquisition of Outlaw (http://outlawsound.com), a full service audio post facility. BWN purchased the studio from owner Allan Roth, who is retiring after a successful 25-year run.  
LOWRY DIGITAL HIRES TECHNOLOGIST GARY DEMOS
August 18 BURBANK, CA - Motion picture technologist Gary Demos has joined Lowry Digital as senior algorithm scientist. Lowry Digital has developed and used its image processing technology for feature film restoration, the enhancement of moving pictures for current productions, Blu-ray Disc preparation, and image recovery and repair.  
ULTRABLAND ADDS EDITOR SCOTT HARRISON
August 18 NEW YORK - Editor Scott Harrison recently joined Ultrabland, here, bringing with him 20 years of creative promo experience. He began his career at National Video Center, where he worked for 11 years as an editor on music videos, commercials and broadcast promotion.
